Moderate head. Good initial streaking on the glass. Lighter brown color with a light haze.
The smell is as expected with plenty of darker, not quite chocolate, malt. A lot like toasted brown bread.
Smooth neutral body, made thicker by the low carbonation. There’s some toffee sweetness and a light, well balanced bittering hop. Moderate length aftertaste on the malt finish.

The appearance was a semi-dark brown color with a finger’ s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Light stringy lace. The aroma had a slight sweet nutty to caramel maltiness. Light coffee and a little bit of cinnamon. Ended with a little bit of earthy hop bitterness. The flavor blended fairly nice between the prior mentioned aromas. Cinnamon, coffee and caramel in the aftertaste. Nice little malty and cinnamon finish. The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt right. Overall, pretty interesting brown ale. I like the cinnamon that came out, that was a bit different.
