Moderate and lasting fine-bubbled head. Cloudy, nearly brown color. Good webs of lacing.
Deeper toasted malt smell—approaching the Brown Ale style. Lightly sweet with some caramel notes. Low hop.
Thinner in body. Proper carbonation. I notice an uptick in the hop presence on the tongue. There’s notable yeast bite as well. The malt base remains in the background throughout the tasting. Longer, bitter aftertaste.
