Bottle from the brewery. Medium golden, mild haze, small bubbly head, streaky lacing. Aroma is caramel , leather, kind of musty. Taste would be caramel malts, but the hops come in and take this straight to bitterness. Resin, wood, orange peel. Dry finish. Not that enjoyable.

22 oz. bottle purchased at Bi-Mart ( of all places) in Prineville..while picking up camping supplies
$3.99..sitting on warm shelf..
Looks like a clear golden body and a nice big thick and frothy white head.
Aromas floral/fruity..perfumy , lemon drops and pluot, maybe bit of pineapple juice..nice.
Taste similar..really well balanced all the flavors but ends zesty..with a touch of plum jelly.
Very nice smoooth and well constructed mouth feel..never bored.
Very nice IPA

Amber brew, white foam. Piney and fruity hop aroma. Sharp and acidic but the malt is bold. Lots of grapefruit juice flavor and a bitter finish. It's a well-made IPA with considerable depth of flavor. There is an odd aftertaste of something like white pepper and plum jam with grapefruit pith.
Medium body. Sturdy. Brewed with Magnum and Columbus hops with a rating of 60 IBUs. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at The Brew Shop in Bend. Label says this is 6.1%. First released for the end of the world on 12/21/12.
