Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a clear amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at an even pace. Slight messy lace. The aroma had some toast, dark fruit, and earthy hops. Lingering little bit of spicy hops. Light nuts. The flavor leans towards a bready/toastiness evening out with some of that dark fruity sweetness and then the spicy to earthy hops. Mild toasty/dark fruity aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Smooth along my tongue. ABV felt appropriate. Overall, nice amber ale worthy of having again.

Different amber ale. Tastes of caramel and toasty/roasty with a nutty flavors. Tastes like they used an Irish yeast.

Out of a can, into a pint glass, a little colder than cellar temperature, perhaps.
The head is insubstantially high to form a finger, but what's there briefly is off-white. True to style name, the beer is very much amber. Clear, dark honeyish amber. 3.67.
I get a good amount of caramel and brown sugar in the aroma. And maybe even a little chocolate! Ha! There's also a not-too bright fruitiness going on, like from apples or cherries. 4.39.
A very solid flavor in this one. Toasty malts, a nutty component, and a muted hoppiness. Were an IPA a tiger, this is beer is like what it would taste like after being tamed with the whip of maltiness. 4.43.
The feel is medium, I'd say, with a nice toasty breadiness lingering pleasantly long after each sip. 4.4.
This amber ale has an excellent compromise between malts and hops, and it gives off some surprisingly complex aromatics. It has earned my approval.
