Pours a slightly hazy medium amber color with white head. Citrus, light grass, and some other light fruitiness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with citrus and a slightly sweet note.

Dark copper orange, finely textured creamy foam, almost like a nitro draft. Lots of sticky lacing that forms intricate patterns, and lasting surface coverage for the duration of the glass.

Aroma has an earthy hop spice to it, lightly sticky malt sweetness, some indistinct fruitiness like cantaloupe or candied orange. Fairly mellow.

Taste is malty with a balanced hop presence, not especially bitter. Light cantaloupe and green pine resin. Smooth and creamy texture, medium bodied. Light bitterness builds in the aftertaste. Overall it's pretty good, wouldn't turn it down on draft. No date on the bottle so it's hard to determine freshness.

poured 22oz bottle into snifter.

A - Hazy copper/amber color with a nice eggshell 2 finger head. Very nice retention and thick webbed lacing around the glass.

S - Big aromas of floral citrus smell. Orange, Pineapple, Grapefruit. Touch of nice caramel malt and nectar to bring in some sweetness.

T - I really enjoy the taste of this. Slight pine bitter flavor is complemented by juicy fruit and citrus. The bitterness gives way to some caramel malt sweetness and finishes with the pine and grapefruit bitter.

M - Medium body with nice carbonation. Sticky and oily hops left in the mouth.

O - A very nice balance between hops and malt that showcases Amarillo.
