Poured 22oz bottle into tulip. A dark brown color with a slight reddish hue and a two finger beige head that slowly settles to a nice thin but creamy puffy layer while leaving light layers of lacing. A bouquet of toffee and caramel, followed by dark fruit, bourbon and vanilla. Flavor is full of caramel raisins, toffee, vanilla, brown sugar, prunes, faint dried cherries. Finish is boozy, with a real nice bourbon-esque character. There is a nice warming sensation and a slight bitterness on the finish. I'm not sure you will find a better local brewed Dubbel in the region.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
