750ml bottle pours a hazy golden copper color with a creamy topping of yellowish tan head. Rising bubbles maintain a solid finger plus and lace completely coats the glass.

The aroma is juicy with hops. Fruity and floral initially turning herbal and pine-like. It is so hoppy, it almost has that dusty hop resin quality typically found towards the end of a cask that is dry-hopped with pellets.

Taste is herbal and bitter. Slightly grassy with pine-like resins. A little catty and progressively more herbal with follow-up sips. There is a bready grain backing to this that makes it smell sweet but taste has little to no residual sugars. Very mild alcohol accent elevates the fruity/floral qualities.

This is a medium bodied brew with a moderate amount of carbonation. A solid representation of the style and very drinkable and enjoyable. Well done Alan and Albert, looking forward to drinking this one again. Seek it out if you have not had this.

On-tap at Mastracchio's in Newport (catching up on my reviews)

A - Served with a very bright golden body but with a lot of haziness to it...the head was white and fluffy and stood two fingers tall...great retention and lacing

S - The twelve hops work together to bring out a very floral aroma with notes of citrus...the nose is clean and crisp and doesn't appear to bring forward any bitterness

T - There is a little bit of a flip from the aroma...the floralness from the hops is still present but there is a big piney presence that comes out...with the piney flavor comes a bitterness, but it isn't until the finish...and it's all pine bitterness, not the citric bitterness...the malts are kept at a minimum...the yeast strain used pokes its head through but is overwhelmed by the flavor of the hops

M - Medium bodied...smooth and nicely carbonated...the hops do provide a bitterness that's a little harsh and not expected

O - I love how they actually used twelve hops...these twelve hops worked together to create a nice nose, but they created a bitterness that was not expected and a little strange at the backend...however, I enjoyed this beer overall and can't wait until next year's batch
