Cask. Sparkler used. Thick creamy head. Clear mid amber.
A vibrant green hoppy smell. Floral, earthy and resinous.
The earthy hops become pronounced upon tasting which is nicely balanced with toffee malt. Dry and bitter.
Cask conditioned feel with a medium body.
A really decent EIPA.

500 ml bottle, from Bier Huis, Ossett. ABV is 5.0%. Clear deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts and toffee, hints of caramel and earthy hops. The flavour is first malty but not very sweet, followed by fruity and earthy hops, with a rather sharp piney /resinous bitterness in the aftertaste.

A 500ml bottle with a BB of Nov 2018. Purchased recently from Morrisons. Described on the label as an intensely hopped IPA.
A: Poured into a tulip pint glass. A bright golden hue with good clarity and plentiful carbonation. Yields a large head of frothy white foam that lasts for a minute or so before reducing and dissipating.
S: Aroma of fruity hops with hints of citrus, peel, mild resin, grass/hay, pale malt, barley sugar and ale yeast. A touch of diacetyl lurks in the background. Pretty good.
T: Tastes of intensely aromatic hops with notes of pine resin, dank weed, grapefruit, citrus, peel, leafiness, grass/hay, grainy malt, barley sugar and ale yeast. Slightly sweet, followed by a robust hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and good body. Nicely judged for the strength. Hop oils stimulate the palate. Aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, pine resin, weed, citrus peel, grainy malt and ale yeast.
O: In a word - excellent. Looks OK, while the aroma and flavour showcase resinous, citrussy hops underpinned by pale malt and yeast. Nice body. A perfectly judged balance between the malt and hops creates a relatively dry beer that packs a hoppy punch. Goes down a treat - well worth sampling if you have the chance.

Had this one at the 4th annual Lititz cask beer festival.
A - Pours golden amber orange with a small white head leaving little streaks of lace down the glass.
S - Smells of pine needles, fresh cut grapefruit, caramel and toffee sweetness round things out. Not the strongest but still pretty nice.
T - Starts off with a strong dose of grapefruit and citric hops quickly giving way to hints of the caramel and toffee sweet core of the beer. The balance is good but the smooth feel dissipates toward the end of the glass, leaving it a bit thin and lackluster.
M - Medium-Light body and flavor with moderate carbonation. It gets a bit thin at the end but the smooth, slightly bitter feel is enjoyable.
O - I enjoyed this one. It had good overall balance and the flavors worked well together. Glad I got to try this rare treat, at least in this country.

Had this one at the 4th Lititz Cask Beer Festival. I think my taste buds identified with this one better than any others here at the festival. I could have swore this was an American IPA. Poured a nice deep amber color and arrived with a thin white layer of head that faded quickly. Huge grapefruit and pine nose. Taste was above average and unreal for a English IPA. This was by far the best beer at the festival and probably the best English IPA I've ever had.

This was my favorite from the recent cask festival at the Bull's Head.
a: This was a clear golden/amber color. It was served to me with a firm, frothy cap.
s: Shockingly strong grapefruit and ganja aromas. Backed by hints of toffee and sweet grains.
t: Here again, an amazingly strong hop presence from across the pond. Tingly, resinous grapefruit with hints of something earthy and floral. There was just a hint of sweet balance.
m: Sticky, resinous body and gently creamy carbonation.
o: I was stunned by how hoppy this was. I'd love to have this again sometime.
