Solid black colour, smells roasty and malty, with a little raisin and touch of earthy hops. Slightly sweet malt, with a dry burnt bitterness throughout. Lingering toasty finish. Creamy since on cask.

On cask at the Craven Arms' beer festival. Smooth, rich, porter. A full bodied but nicely balanced beer. Very smooth. The head was great. I really, really liked this beer. Dry finish, fruity taste with port and treacle. The OG is 1055.
