Man I've partied quite a few times at Markley Cove much less all of Lake Berryessa. Nostalgia feels.
Pours golden, lightly 'dark' golden if you will, decent clarity, just the slightest amount of obscurity to it. I've seen it called a hazy pale ale, but nah man, not really. Good hoppy aroma, pale ale vibes. Dearth of information about the hops used in this beer, but I'd venture something in the Citra/Mosaic combo range, it had a good tropical and citrus feel to it, nothing too exotic but right up the mainstream hop alley way.
Taste imparted solid pale ale hoppy offerings. The mouthfeel clearly was not hazy to me, didn't have that low bitterness, still seemed to clock in that 40-50 ibu realm. Light bodied, standard 2 row and pale malts, neutral ale yeast. Man I could see myself crushing TF out of this beer, literally at Markley Cove or anywhere else on the lake. This was the first place I heard the term Glory Hole. Glory hole spilling over the rim, these are real headlines at Lake Berryessa, learn it, live it, or whatever Judge Reinhold says.

On draft in San Francisco.
A - Light copper color, fine carbonation leads to a thick white cap.
S - Orange, base malts are present, some biscuit and a touch of dough.
T - Well done pale, enough citrus to keep it interesting, carbonation cleans everything up nicely.
F - Just right for the style, not to oily or heavy, a well crafted pale ale.
O - Glad to have tried this, easy drinking, not offensive or pushy. Enough bitterness to match the malt bill.
Cheers

Off the tap at Berryessa Brewing. It pours a thin head on a clear straw body.
The aroma is spicy and honey.
The taste has a strong bitterness without much depth though.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
An enjoyable pale ale with great aroma.
