Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a crisp malty amber color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid away pretty quick to leave barely any lace.
The aroma had some Belgian sweet malts, light floral sweet rye, and a touch of earthy spice.
The flavor took the prior blended aromas and seemed to add a hint of yeasty/breadiness. Lingering malty somewhat rye-like aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a pretty good smoothness about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate. Pretty nice smoothness all around. Rye harshness seemed to be contained fairly well.
Overall, since I'm a fan of rye beers, I wouldn't have cared if the rye harshness presented a higher level of "oomph" to it, but I was fine with this beer as is.
