The beer pours out a medium hazy dark golden orange color, with 1 finger of white head---------------- the aromas are of pine, orange, grapefruit, floral notes and lemon/ lime----------------- the flavors are of pine, orange, orange pith, dank weed and Carmel malt, the beer has a medium mouthfeel with an aggressive bitterness on the finish----------------- overall this beer was good - this is a tasty easy drinking pale ale

Hey check it out, now I've added 2 Berryessa beers. On tap at Samuel Horne's Tavern in Folsom.

Pours a standard orange, pretty good head, but not overwhelming. The smell is a bit bready, with some caramel thrown in. Meh. Very APA. The taste is a bit hoppier, with a sharp dry finish.

Frankly, APA is not a great style with which to blow one's socks off, so this drink is not the tour-de-force Freshie was. But it's still a pretty good beer.

On tap at Ella Dining Room Sacramento. This is more like an IPA in my opinion.

Good looking body. Darker IPA. Burnt amber. Not much of a head. Light lace.

Floral nose. Grapefruit. Hi-C Orange. Tangerine. Very sweet citrus.

Pungent grapefruit hop oils from the start. Malty brown sugar middle. Bittering american hops, semi dry in the finish. Light and lingering licorish aftertaste.

Nice malty IPA. A cool beer.

A delightfully sessionable (5%) pale ale that’s hoppy and delicious? Sign me up!
This pours from the can a glowing gold-tan with generous foam. Big hop aroma. Some lemon pith, pine sap, and sticky dank comes across. More of the dank sappy goodness on the palate, with a long drying finish. I liked it.
