Pours amber with a small head.
Nose shows some caramel and faint resinous hop notes, but is very restrained.
Similarly plain flavours, just faint caramel and soft bready notes with grapefruit and pine later.
Carbonation is too high.
As Stew said, meets the requirements for the style, but barely.

This pours a cloudy dark golden colour with a dense white head that drops away to leave a reasonable covering.
Malt was the first aroma to stand out quickly followed by fruity hops. A slight touch of pine resin. At the more restrained end of APA aroma profiles.
Again the malt is first to hit on the palate. Definite sweetness. The hops are there but seem a little muddled. Bitterness kicks in right at the end but could be a little more assertive.
Creamy mouthfeel from a high carbonation.
An APA that is much more malt than hop dominant. Not really my thing.
