I used to drink this ALL THE TIME at Curly's in Glen Ellyn IL. It is an incredible malted bier and it should be a touch cloudy but not "chunky". Can't find it...wish I could.

Picked this up at Rt59 Beverage in West Nyack, NY several years ago and consumed shortly aferwards. Shiny gold bomber with a big crocodile on the label. Never had a beer from Africa, so the novelty factor was huge.
No idea how old this one was, but it poured a murky deep golden yellow. Halfway through the pour, several amorphous dark brown blobs plopped into the glass. I could only assume these were ancient yeast rafts. Small fizzy white head. Smelled like a typical malt liquor, but with a little funkiness in the background. Taste was light on grain with a moderate alcohol presence. There was also a significant musty/cobweb sort of flavor pervading the finish. Decent lightly effervescent mouthfeel.
Had a difficult time finishing this one, which I attribute to travel from Africa, unknown age and storage conditions. If I ever came across something similar, I'd try it in a heartbeat, though I wouldn't expect too much.
