Been looking forwards to these brews and the cask reference on this one is Type-Hogshead
Wood-Sherry Oak
Highland Park
Vintage-1990
Age-22yrs
Region-Orkney
Product-792 bottles
And it pours a murky brown hue with an off white one finger head and sone sporadic lacing, the smell is strong butterscotch, light sherry and toffee, the mouthfeel is a little light for my liking with slight carbonation and the tastes first up are butterscotch which is dominant followed by a touch of sweet toffee and finished with a non bitter herbal hoppiness which really neutrals out the sweetness first encountered and overall it's nice but with its flaws it's definately not worth the price and it's just a shame that the base brew never changes only the barrels as the base beer could do with some tweaks cheers.
