On tap at Slater's 50/50 in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a murky orange-brown with a foamy beige head that fades to nothing. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grape juice, and dark fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly tart grape juice and dark fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with an interesting mild tartness in the flavor.
