Had on tap at the Azusa location.
Dark copper to red color; nice clarity. Light tan head is not very persistent. Aromas dominated by hops; low pine with strong prune and herbal/woody/earthy note that seems to be hop-derived rather than malt. Bready malt in background with some low raisin and a tiny bit of roasted grain. Flavors dominated by strong herbal, almost minty hops. Low to medium body with very low carbonation (helps explain the weak head). Alcohol is not evident.
Overall a decent beer that needs more carbonation (could be a tap problem). The description says it was dry hopped with Centennial. I think I just discovered I don't care for that variety, because I found the hops flavors and aromas to be distractingly herbal and earthy, almost medicinal.
