On tap at Congregation Ale House in Pasadena, CA.

Pours a hazy light yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, earth, and lemon juice aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour grain, cracker, and lemon juice flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty, but the normal berliner weisse aspects are slightly better in the smell.

Serving type: on tap.
