Goblet glass off the draft at the Azusa location. Dark black body, slightly brown head measuring half a finger, good retention, no lacing. Smell is milk chocolate, a bit of spicy rye, bit of earth, roast, espresso, not much else. No coconut to be found. Flavour gives off a hint of coconut on the finish, otherwise it is milk chocolate, espresso, cocoa, roast and a bit of dark fruit and rye spice. It's pretty much a standard imperial stout profile, with not much coconut to be found. Mouthfeel is lighter-medium bodied, good carbonation, smooth and a fairly subdued earthy finish.
