Medium cloudy golden color is neither good nor bad to me.
It didn't keep a head for 10 seconds but meh.
It sure bubbles alot.
It does smell like overripe bananas, fermented even.
Not really hoppy tasting.
More like an old school wheat beer but strong and bright with a banana twist.
I think I kept it on the shelf for about 10 months so ...

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of bananas and pale malts are present in the nose along with hints of spicy yeast.
T: The taste follows the smell, but starts out with flavors of pale malts in the forefront and has notes of bananas from the yeast and hints of spices towards the finish.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is light in body and goes down very easily but seemed like it could have stronger flavors.
Serving type: can

Looks ok. Golden medium white head. Smell is of cheap aftershave. The taste I got was of extreme estery sweetness of way too high fermentation temperature. It tasted toxic to me so after the first sip the rest went down the sink. Not even sure what this was supposed to be.

Poured into shaker from tap, minimal head and lacing. Pale yellow crystal clear in the glass. Smells of clove , banana. Taste is initially same as the nose. Finish is smooth semi dry. Nice mouthfeel.

16 oz. on-tap at the brewery
L: clear pale yellow with hint of gold, SRM 3 at darkest; very little head of white foam; keeps tiny collar from weak activity; not 100% flat-looking but it is lackluster
S: yeasty, earthy lemon peel, banana, clove ... sweetened a bit by the malt; sweet-sour grapes, white whine, sweet but not dessert (Reisling)
T: peanuts, walnuts, yeast, grain, sour grain or a light yeasty tartness; flavors very muted and light; the saison-like yeast flavor grows and builds and gets nicely rounded by something lightly sweet (malt?)
F: weighty, a full middleweight and very ale slick and soft with the carbonation tickling and filling late
O: some authentic Belgian notes in an understated form, like a "light" tripel

This is a "paterbier" brewed by New Republic in collaboration with a local priest. The result is very nice! Had a fresh draft at the brewery. Nice short lived head and minimal lacing. Pleasant floral smell. Taste is refreshing with lemon and lime and fruit, along with pepper and some grassy notes. Nice clean taste. Seemed appropriate to the collaboration.
