Served on-tap at Ale Arsenal. The menu says "Green Flash Ristretto Cosmic Black Lager: Black lager with espresso, vanilla beans, and cacao nibs."
A: Black, with cola glints. Intimidatingly dark head.
S: Flat, biscuity, crispy. Hint of licorice, chocolate, and gingerbread.
T/M: Smooth, flat, and tasty. Huge flavors. Spicy. Coffee? Check. Dark fruit? Check. Chocolate? Vanilla? Roasted malt? Check, check, check. A little sweet and flat for me, overall.
O: Good, but not great. Too much, too sweet, and I don't think the casks did it any favors.
