A - Poured into on of the 8oz glasses at the brewery. Looks like honey with a thin white head. Lots of legs on the glass.
S - Lots of buttery oak. Big vanilla right in your face. Reminds me of a FW barrel aged brew.
T - Vanilla bomb. Lots of oak and a little boozy. Lots of coriander, raisins, and white wine. Back end had the banana flavoring that comes with a trippel.
M - Body is a little thick for a belgian style. Leaves a heavy oil on the palette. Lots of carbonation.
O - Good to see Green Flash doing a barrel program but when compared to a Allagash Curieux (which is the benchmark of the style to me) it just doesn't compare.
