Sour Blond is our take on an American Sour Ale. We allow our Saison Diego to free ferment up to 90 degrees after we add our souring Bacteria. When finished we move the beer into Red Wine Barrels where we then add our Flanders Wild Mix and let age 12-18 months. Straw in color with a pronounced sourness, this beer gets an added layer of flavor from the Barrel. Flavors of red grapes, pineapple, mango and verbena are prevalent.

Having found no other presence online if this beer, I debated adding, but...
A: nice hay-like blond to "white" in color, mildly cloudy. Nice light head at edges that last through the whole pour.
S: sour milk, old shoe, general tart funkiness. There's a little sour grape I think I. The background.
T: nice sour bite up front, but smoothed out by an almost salty wheat-like body (obviously it reminds me a bit of a Gose). There is definitely a sour apple or tart cherry on the tongue also, but overall a pretty straightforward medium sour beer.
M: very smooth, gives a medium body feel but also is easy drinking. Medium tartness, fairly refreshing.
O: a decent sour styled beer. As I said, almost seems reminiscent of a Gose. I would grab this again, if available.
