Hand Shake IPA is a commemorative collaboration beer brewed to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Green Flash and Alpine Beer Company union. Brewmasters Pat and Shawn McIlhenney and Chuck Silva combined powers to create an IPA worthy of sharing with good friends. Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra, and El Dorado Hops create a fresh, orange, peppery flavor with an earthy bitter finish. So delicious, let’s toast to a beautiful friendship.

Poured from a bomber into a chilled glass. Nice head and cloudy golden color. Complex aroma. Starts out different then gets going. Like the pepper finish. Worthy brew. Get some.

Pours hazed lighter apricot, leaves nice looking lace, film and a fine film
Pungent sniff of grapefruit, tropical assortment, leafy fresh hops
Fresh and flovorful with abundant tropical notes, earthy and resiny hops.
Nicely done, West coast style all the way. Go get some of this quality stuff

Handshake is a good beer. I just had the Imperial IPA and this just isn't the same. It's look is more like a Lager than IPA. Smell is minimal, and taste is good at best. Feel is less refined, and a bit coarse. I am ruined because of the Imperial experience. This a good beer on it's owe.
