Unique bronzy-orange body with a thin off-white head and spotty lacing. Really attractive.
Sour and tart, some horsey funk, and a zesty spice on the nose. Citrus peal, lemon, wine grape, and a mild vinegar element.
Taste follows, with a lot of tart and pithy citrus, balsamic vinegar, Bretty funk, biscuit yeast, and very strong and sharp peppery spice. Quite grassy and minerally. It drinks much bigger than it is because the flavor notes are so bold and multi-directional. Perhaps not the most harmonious beer, but very interesting and different.

I thought this was fantastic. Lots of sourness happening. Complex, tart and fruity. Some vanilla sweetness from somewhere as well. One of my new favorites.

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a 750 ml bottle on January 22, 2018. Batch 01 bottled on June 9, 2017. There is a lot going on here. Orange, spices, barrel notes (especially vanilla) and some brett funk. Crisp and tart. Glad I tried this.

Pours orange hinted copper with a nice cloudy haze in the glass. Not much lacing or carbonation.
Nose is oranges, a lot of spice, and light sour notes from a sour beer.
Bites, really nice bite of bitter and sour with some hints of spice. Ginger, pepper, vanilla, orange peel, and perhaps best vinegar like sour notes.
Refreshing but the bite is a bit harsh. Avoid if not looking for something super sour. the ginger spice is a bit too much.
This is pretty special and well done. I won't get it again but rather happy with it.
