L - Golden, with 1 finger of head and lots of lace left all over the top of the brew and the sides of the glass. Gorgeous

S - Big bitter notes, pine, tangerines, grapefruit

T - Like the aroma - pine bitterness, citrus, and decent malt backbone. Bitter aftertaste

F - Well carbonated, and medium body

O - Excellent for a session IPA. Very tasty and hoppy and decently balanced for a session

From the bottle, it pours alight golden amber with a nice large head. The head stays around for awhile. The nose is tickled by the hops with scents of pine and citrus. Flavor is more bitter than east coast ipas, but nice.

12 oz bottle with a Feb. 2017 BB date.

Hazy amber body has visible carbonation that rises to a moderate size, sudsy, off-white head. Some sediment added i the pour. Good retention and patterned sticky lacing.

Fairly good and floral aroma with notes of hay, pine and tropical fruits. The flavor is bold for a "session" ale, and a bit better than the aroma suggests. Notable complexity. Moderate bitterness for style.

Feel: near medium body; medium+ but soft carbonation; semi-dry finish.

Overall: a flavorful IPA that emphasizes tropical fruit notes.

First of all, I’m not a fan of session IPAs. That said, this one doesn’t smell too bad - nice hops and malt. Decent head settles after a bit. Flavor’s mostly resin bitter. Long bitter finish. Body’s a touch thin.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy amber, capped after a nice bubble show by a three inch head; gobs of lacing hang around

Smell: A bit of tangerine but rather nondescript

Taste: After a bit of the biscuit, the tangerine flavors come into the fray; slightly bitter through the finish

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A couple of months past the best by date, the beer is clearly oxidized so it may have been more enjoyable when it was fresher

Labeled as Best By 3/23/16, so I am about 3 months past the expiration date to be fair. Pours a cloudy golden amber color with a thick foamy head. Head retention and lacing are both very good. A lot of piney resin in the aroma, but hops are a little stale. Mild citrus. Again, taste way off base but probably due to it not being fresh. Very soapy. Cannot discern the fruity flavors. Stale piney hop

Slightly hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma has sweet malt and orange peel with some earthy hops on top. Taste starts with the same notes, really balanced, gets quite bitter on the finish. You get the malts and also the fruity hops with big orange flavor. Medium mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Although my bottle is past it's best by date, it still is quite tasty, especially for the low ABV.

Pours a clear, gold color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of floral hops, hops oils, hint of resin, hint of pine, sweet malt, and slight caramel malt. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of citrus hops, slight floral hops, sweet malt, caramel malt, and a hint of pine. Overall, better aroma than body, too bitter, decent appearance, average IPA at best.

Best by 5/9/2016. Body is a light golden yellow color with slight haze and a finger width of rocky white foam as a head. The nose hits you initially with a pleasantly sweet biscuit malt base, and transitions towards the hops. Citrus zest, grapefruit, toasted grains, mango, dried pine, pineapple puree, and some spicy floral notes. Light mouth feel with nice carbonation and good balance. Slightly bitter aftertaste of pine and grapefruit pith. The flavor presents a clean pale malt flavor, pine needles, citrus, honey, and tart mango. Easy drinking, balanced IPA that's not too hop forward.

A: Pours a clear light orange/yellow color. has some tiny sediment floating around. Two fingers
of white head. No lacing and very little retention.

S: Light pine. Some sweet malts. A little resin. Very subdued aroma flavors.

T/M: Pine. Sweet. Strong hop bite. Resin. Mango. Pineapple. Aftertaste is surprisingly clean.
Medium to light bodied. Hop flavors are strong but don't last.

O: This IPA is nice. Has some real flavorful fruit and pine flavors. Hops are strong for a session IPA.

Cheers!

A- clear wheat gold in color with a half finger head. Lacing is stagnant across pint glass.

S- lots of grapefruit and citrus in the nose.

F- resin and grapefruit.

M- crisp and smooth feel with resin lingering in the mouth

O- a good IPA. the resin came through a little dominant but good nonetheless
