Served @ BJ's freshly tapped into a 16oz glass. Actually the bartender gave me a 4oz sample first which was very nice.
Looks and smells like a typical IPA. My first impression was of a session IPA. Not! This is something like 7ABV and is very smooth for a double IPA. Doesn't have that grainy feel at all. Mouth feel matches the taste which is both dry and spicy. Caraway seeds lend to a earthy and nutty taste giving this IPA a nice drinkable smooth character. I like it!
