On tap at Craft Brew Project on Fifth Ave. They call this a tequila barrel aged Tripel. It pours a handsome light red-brown in the tulip. It's nicely prickly on the tongue. There's a nice light tequila zingy nose. The tequila taste is quite distinct.
The taste starts out warm and malty. There is a prickly, tart edge but overall it mellows to a warm yet tangy burn of alcohol. Definitely the best tequila flavored beer I've had. Actually it's better than most margaritas, in my opinion. A total winner for Green Flash.
