Good stuff. Smell and taste are green-tropical: orange, unripened mango, apricot. For me at least, the weak-point is the mouthfeel, which is very thin. Looks great with nice orance hazy color and lacing, taste and smell are on-point...but would love it to be thicker in the mouth. That keeps it at 4 instead or 4.25 overall, imho.

Pours a hazy pale yellow/orange with a fingers-worth of head. A blast of tropical citrus fruit such as pineapple, orange in the nose. Taste of sweet pineapple and a balanced amount of pine for a slightly bitter finish. Very drinkable and boozy too!

Look - Soft white foamy head that holds shape, nice and hazy.

Smell - Breezy and tropical citrus with a hint of alcohol.

Taste - Tropical and bitter orange in the front with hoppy resin in the back

Feel - Very smooth and easy to drink.

Overall - Solid hazy ipa entry that goes down smooth.

Look: Hazy orange with a modest head. Head dissipates but a foam cap is retained for quite a while. Lacing visible.
Smell: There is not much aroma that I detect just from smelling it.
Taste: The aroma does show up in the tasting. Sweet on the tip of the tongue then tart in the middle and a lightly piney bitterness at the end. Flavor is tangerine, pineapple, mango some berry
Feel: Light mouthfeel with soft carbonation adding some fullness.

Overall: I had high expectations given that there are Mosaic and Simcoe hops in it. But I didn’t love it. Flavor is improving as the beer gets warmer.
There are my hops. I will say that this beer gets better as it warms. At 55 degrees the flavors really open up. Really, this is one to drink warmer. Forget what the major breweries tell you about the colder the better. That does not work for this beer, 55 F is were it gets interesting. Mango, tangerine, peach, orange, tropical flavor are sooo much more detectable/prominent at higher temperatures. Once it gets there there is certainly has plenty of complexity as you would expect from properly utilized Mosaic hops. I think the Belgian yeast also contributes a rather unique flavor. At 65 degrees it is still wonderful, not as good as 55 but way better than straight out of the fridge.

Unbalanced and shows a lot of unwanted estery due to fermentation problems.
The hops are really quite. A bit of booziness

This is just slightly hazed, and it certainly has none of the New England murk and slippery, raw grain effect. Color is pale gold with a modest foam in the Rodenbach goblet. Aroma is pineapple, orange, and banana. Sturdy malty body with plenty of spritz on the tongue.

Taste is seriously fruity, with pineapple in the lead, and apricot following. This is a nice example of a big fruity IPA that delivers plenty of clean flavors while staying beery and drinkable. From the 12 oz can purchased at Trader Joes.

Sampled from draught @ Beer Temple, A'dam. Pours a hazy straw yellow colour and a snow white head with good lacing. Aroma's of lemon, juicy. Retronasal it's resinous, juicy, lemon. Flavour it moderate bitter, light sour. Light medium bodied, Finish is a bit weird, moderate bitter.

Can poured into a Green Flash Brewing Co pint glass

A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.

S: Bright tropical and stone fruit, a little zesty citrus, a touch of pine, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: Mix of bright citrus, tropical, and stone fruit, mango, apricot, papaya, tangerine, lemon, lime, and passion fruit, floral, a touch of pine, slight yeasty funk, crackery biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: Light to medium body, moderately lively carbonation.

O: Nice to finally see something new from Green Flash. You can definitely taste the presence of that Brux yeast. Hopefully this helps them find themselves again.

Amazing smell and quite amazing taste! These are my first impressions, an unmistaken boom in my face. Tropical boom. Really, almost where tropical canned fruits are, sweet mango, pineapple, passion fruit, peach and grapefruits/oranges. Amazing! And what’s even more: the taste is almost the same, awesome! Really well done, makes me wonder how they managed to achieve such fruitiness without adding anything extra into the brew... When sipping it I realize: it’s not only due to the hops but the special (Belgian?) yeast as well that makes the whole thing sweet and extremely smooth, almost like a lactose IPA.
The more you drink it, the more fruity it gets. Although it’s labeled as a New England IPA, it’s not your typical NEIPA, although it resembles the features but regardless quite unique. Not your typical West Coast IPA either. Should I call it a Tropical IPA? A masterpiece from San Diego. Hats off, Green Flash, I think I might have liked it even better than the trademark West Coast.
THIS is the real Green Flash, when the green hops flash before your eyes, so lupuloid this beer is. I found it outstanding. Awesome!

Poured from a can , hazy and murky yellow/gold honey color with fluffy head receding into scattered lacing. Nose is mild tropical fruit. Taste is really mild and tropical, a whole lotta not much going on. Finish is smooth and lite , almost dry. Not quite a disappointment . Would be a great hot weather quaffer.
