Two fingers of fairly persistent khaki foam cap a clear and copper pour that shows very small rising bubbles. The nose opens with bread and bread crust aromas which settle down to a sweeter bread and honey aroma. Tasting malty and medium sweet with more of a caramel flavor. There is a general new world fruitiness to it. Hop bitterness is restrained. The medium-weight body is smooth and creamy. Carbonation is moderate. Certainly, to my palate at least, a sweet American style Oktoberfest, but an enjoyable one.
