Poured fairly hard from a tall can into a snifter glass, forming a ton of foamy white head that eventually faded to nothing. Deep orange/amber color, looks more like a pumpkin ale than a porter. Smell is simple pumpkin. Taste is pumpkin with spices, nothing porter-y about it. Fairly heavy carbonation despite the strong pour. Fine pumpkin ale, but definitely not a porter.

16oz can poured into a goblet
A- pours an amber color with a one-finger foamy white head that reduces to a thin film on top. Porter?
S- aroma is dominated by spices, with clove standing out. Undertones of cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. A bit of a nutty malty undertone
T- holy spices, so much clove, followed by cinnamon and allspice. Undertones of the base beer try to compete with the spices, adding a hint of caramel. The finish is more clove and allspice
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into the finish
O- I'm not sure how they marketed this as a porter, it's basically an amber ale. No dark roasted barley or chocolate notes to be found and the spices overpower the base beer
