On tap for the 4th Annual LA Beer Week Beer Festival at Union Station in Los Angeles, CA.

Pours a clear golden orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, caramel, and some grassy aromas. Taste is much the same with a mild bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

On Tap

Green Flash Brewing Co.
Mira Mesa, CA

Clear medium orange with a small near-white head that leaves dots of stick down the glass.

Aroma of simple grain and some moderate sweetness along with a little bit of earth and grass. Nice enough for the style, though expectedly unexciting.

Flavor is of simple grain, toast and bread, and just a little bit of complementary sweetness. Decent, but there were far better offerings on tap.

Medium bodied with moderate-high carbonation. Very appropriate for the style.

Good enough, and very appropriate for a hot day spent outside at the accompanying car show.
