One of the series of American beers brewed specially at British breweries for Wetherspoons. It smells like pepper and gravel and has a dark amber colour with a decent head. A surprisingly wholemeal and smoky start, then increasing white sugar sweetness which recedes as spicy hops come into play. After the first sip the hops become increasingly dominant. This is more worthy than joyful: a decent sipper.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
