Pours a slightly cloudy copper colour with an off-white, creamy head that settles to a thin film. Lacing is ringed and occasionally beady.
Aroma is bitter, roasted, caramel, wheaty and of dried apricots.
The taste is also slightly roasted, with a wheaty/cake feel to it. The wheat hint combined with a toffee sort of note reminded me of sticky toffee pudding. The aftertaste is good and bitter.
Mouthfeel is very silky and it is easily drinkable.
