This "English Ale" was poured for me despite being after last call (10pm) at the oldest pub in Bristol, the White Horse. Light copper with a medium malt body. Typical tea-like and floral aromas dominate a woody, sweet malt. Nice sharp hops create a raspy back of the throat bitterness. Not much of a head, but the large white bubbles leave a trace of lace. Dry and clean. Slight cider notes. Very drinkable even though it was served cellar temperature.

Also had this in London at the pub "real ale tour". Pale ale look with a slight off white head. low carbonation. Sweet flower hop nose. Hop flower taste followed by earthy sweetness. Too undercarbonated for my taste but a good beer that has been crafted. I may have preferred it more if it were colder.
