September 2004: Cask at The Hogshead, Ipswich. My first Ringwood beer. Deep golden colour, light bodied, fruity flavour with a faint hint of barnyard. OKish, but not a favourite of mine.

Disappointing. Flat and bland. Pours a caramel color with tiny head and lazy carbonation. Faint smell of malt, fainter malty taste with just a annoying bitter lingering palate. Thanks, but no thanks.

12/30/15 on cask at Crooked Billet in Wokingham - very tasty and well balanced - could (and did) drink this beer all night

Meh, just got back from Weymouth, ringwood beer is everywhere, like the bitter on pull. Got this in a bottle, not keen at all, not a nice taste at all

Amber colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel, mildly nutty and biscuity notes along with resin and some floral notes. Flavour is floral and grassy bitterness along with some resiny and toffeeish notes. Rich carbonation.

Decent drinkable nothing special session ale. Different label than shown here. Wild boar caricature.
