Picked up at Asda in Aberdeen, Dyce.
The beer pours a clear and bright gold color with a bubbly, fast-fading head.
Aroma is decent, herbal, fruity, a touch of pine and citrus
The flavor mimics the nose, with a nice smack of pine. Dry and crisp.
Overall, a decent little brew.

Bottle. Gold. Effervescent. Thin, dense head.
Hoppy aroma. Light phenolic smell. Grassy.
Perfume like taste. Grass again. Citrus is now noticeable.
Light to medium body. Good carbonation.
OK for an all day IPA.

Served cold into straight pint glass.
L) Lager-golden colour, clear, thin bubbly head.
S) Smells of the hop variety that smells like the herb Basil.
T) NIce bitterness, nice basil-hop flavour, also a back-up tropical fruity hop flavour. Well balanced. A bit of a watery edge, but this is only 4.5%.
F) Easy drinking, very light carbonation, no strong aftertaste or bitterness.
O) Very decent 'supermarket' American-type IPA. Would like to try a stronger version, but what do you expect for your £1.50?

Bottled
Golden bodied with fairly decent frothy white head
Really nice aroma, citrus and pine but not massive slight skunk
Flavour is very similar lacks malt backbone
Slightly watery
Not terrible but it feels like they made an everyday ipa by watering down a regular ipa

Pours clear golden coloured into a glass from a bottle. Pure white head is two fingers thick, creamy, foamy with moderate retention. Some sudsy lacing clings to the sides.
Aroma is white grapes, some tangy citrus, floral grass and aromatic hops. There is real sweet piney, grassy scent about it, very fresh and hoppy.
The flavour is quite a slow burner. You don't get much straight away - like a lager - before the mid-draw and swallow finally kicks up those grassy, and sweet citrus notes. Biscuity light malts roll across the tongue half way through and bring the hops right behind which adds even more vegetative character. This is a definate all day IPA with a lot of mild balanced flavours.
Mouthfeel is moderate, slightly tangy on the sip with that carbonation, and a little oily on the draw and swallow.
Overall, pretty standard session AIPA. Nice grassy character with some good hop presence.
