On tap at Aztec Brewing Company in Vista, CA.
Pours a clear amber color with a tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is pretty malty and nutty. Taste is very much the same. There is a mild bitterness on the palate after each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with some nice nutty aromas and flavors.

On tap at Aztec Brewery.
A: The color is dark amber. The head is a fleeting finger of white froth.
S: This is pretty malty, with notes of bread, biscuit, and a little toffee. I detect some earth as well.
T: Lots of bread and biscuity notes. I get a little sweetness and notes of caramel. The malt is balanced by a low bitterness.
M: Medium body with matching carbonation. The mouthfeel is sticky and smooth.
Overall: A okay bitter.
