On tap at Aztec Brewery.
A: Cloudy brownish orange with a finger of beige foam.
S: Big toffee and bread notes with some biscuit and caramel. The malt profile smells quite good. Notes of earth and orange are apparent.
T: Decidedly English. Notes of bread and biscuit suffuse my palate, accompanied by caramel and earth. This is pretty citrusy, with some orange and tangerine. Nicely balanced. The finish is lightly spicy with well masked alcohol.
M: Upper medium body with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is smooth and sticky.
Overall: A nice strong English beer. Sort of reminds me of a Barleywine.
