According to the folks at Abbey Ales, this is a strong golden best bitter. I found it available at a number of pubs in Bath in September 2005, and according to their web site, it is an occasional offering that, if it is as popular and they make it sound, may become a regular. I tried it at the Old Green Tree and at the Star Inn.
Appearance is a darkish golden in hue, the Abbey Ales folks told me that it is made from low colour Maris Otter malt. Aroma and flavor both start with its hop profile, grassy and slightly fruit sweet, but it has a very good overall balance that makes this beer a treat to drink.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
