Appearance:
Gold/amber, nearly clear, decent head retention for style.
Aroma:
Very un-beerlike, very much yeasty bread with jam, pears and white grapes, and (gulp) a hint of soy sauce. Not a sniffer!
Flavor:
The aroma and flavor are quite the same. Sweet and cidery. And a bit of cardboard. It's the beer that hops forgot. Tasted like bad novice homebrew. Long fruity, gross finish
Mouthfeel:
Nominal.
Overall:
It is barely drinkable EVEN IF you forget is it supposed to be beer. If you want a cheap adjunct lager that actually tastes like beer, forget this one. I gambled and lost on this one. The remaining cans are going to be use for cooking and marinating.

For the price, I'm all about it. Paid $2.79 for a six pack. By no means is it a fantastic lager, but it gets the job done.

Okay I don't know why these beer experts buy beer they know they won't like but again if it's a good drinking beer after a day of cutting firewood you're after look no further.
I like beer that doesn't have to smell like something it isn't. Smells like beer, taste like beer but not as hoppy as Regal! It's what American lagers are suppose to be!
So if you're one of those beer snobs thats turning your nose up at almost any beer that didn't cost a week's pay this is not your beer! If you're an average Joe that wants a cold beer that doesn't cost you a lot then crack one open and enjoy! I remember a day when people put leinenkugals down as skunky and I still drink that!

Poured into a liter sized German boot mug, 3 cans.
The beer looks like a classic lager beer — clear golden body, rising bubbles, and a white airy head that recedes to a very thin film. Lacing is minimal or non-existent.
The beer smells gross. Subtle pear juice, white grape notes, and something between creamed corn and old hay.
The taste is off. Listen, I’m not a beer snob. There are a lot of very cheap adjunct lagers that I think taste excellent. This one does not. The taste mimics the aroma with that viney, grape flavor that is very un-beer. There’s some subtle sharp grass notes in the background, and to be fair if you just drink this and don’t think too much, there is a little adjunct lager sweetness that makes the beer not impossible to swallow.
The mouthfeel is light and dry, a tad gluey(?)
Overall: Remind me to stop buying 30 packs of new cheap beers that I hope I’ll like. It never works out, ever. If this beer just tasted like a normal cheap beer without grape extract I’d provably love it.
Side note: I do not know if this is the same beer as Hammer 30 Revolutionary ale, so I added this one. It does have a different name afterall.
