Notes:
Of the mountains, by the mountains, for the mountains. This Kölsch is true to the traditional style of its hometown in Germany, yet it’s proof that it’s not where you’re born that matters. It’s where you end up. Clean, crisp, and sessionable, Telluride Mountain Beer is made for the place we call home. Thanks Cologne, we’ll take it from here!

On draft at the Paradise Pizzareia at the base of Purgatory ski resort.
When it arrived it had a fine 1 finger head and lively carbonation. Has decent lacing but not the best, I've certainly seen worse though. The color is pale straw with a decent amount of haze, but you can still see through it.
Smell is mostly tart from the yeast character with some light grain and floral hops shining though. Smells quite dry, and the tartness isnt really fruity, or like a sour beer, just fermentation character
Taste has a similar tartness but it fades into the rest of the beer much more cleanly. The hops are quite present but not at all dominating. It is quite light and refreshing as I wouldve hoped. The tartness does pick up some citrusy notes on the taste.
Mouth feel lis light but not watery substantial enough for the head to feel creamy as it forms when you sip. Not too filling and great for the purpose I purchased it for.
Overall a decent beer with flavor but still light. The fermentation character is at the forefront with the hops and grain right behind.

Pours a foggy yellow with two fingers of dense white foam. Head retention is fantastic. Aroma is clove, bready, biscuity, earthy malts with a little banana and grassy hops. Flavor profile is clove, banana, herbal, grassy hops, and bready, biscuity, and earthy malts. Really great sweetness to it with a semi-dry finish. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a soft, crushed velvet texture. Overall, really crushable and delightfully crafted.

Clear, light gold colored body; slowly rising, slightly rough carbonation; decent head, a bit thin yet still leaves rings inside the glass. Excellent wheat and herbal aroma; toasted grain. The flavor combines fine elements of toasted cereal grains with a subtle and balanced hop bitterness; just a smidgen of dry grass. Medium body; crisp and semi-dry; nice gentle warmth throughout.
This kölsch is apparently a new offering from Teulluride Brewing Company. The clerk at the beer store said he thinks it replaces their wheat beer (the brewery's web site currently has nothing on this beer). Whatever the back story, the beer itself brings a nice light grain and soft hop bitterness to the palate. It drinks easily and is a nice alternative to a light pilsner or American adjunt lager styled beer.
