Poured stout black with a 3 cm light brown head which left rings of lacing that don’t go away.
The aroma is lost on my Covid damaged nose.
The taste is a pleasant departure from the generic bourbon barrel aged stout. Some rye, which I really like, a touch of oak but I might have imagined that. Coffee, cacao, and a little whiskey.
Feel is lightly viscous, perfectly appropriate for the style.
OA, it’s really quite good, I generally prefer rye whiskey aged stouts so I might be a little biased.
