16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, sweet toffee, bourbon and oak. Sweet caramel, toffee and malt with bourbon, vanilla and oak.

Poured into a chalice a very nice cloudy brownish color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which leaves a very nice big oil slick and some sticky lacing behind. The nose is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice dark fruit complex (grapes, figs, prunes, dates, raisins, cherries), whiskey/oak, vanilla, licorice. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice dark fruit complex (grapes, figs, prunes, dates, raisins, cherries), pretty nice whiskey/oak note, vanilla, licorice. Full Body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice bitter/dry finish. Overall, a very tasty brew.

16oz can at BW share. mahognay pour, a few stray bubbles. Malty aroma, dried fruit, bourbon. Taste is sweet and malty, mild roast, raisins and sutle bourbon barrel.

Dark mahogany/chestnut color. Translucent but hazy. Small white head. Decent retention. A ring remains. Streaky sticky lacing.

Intensely sweet malt aroma. Smells like an old DIPA. Caramel, toffee, candied apple, cherry, oak, bourbon, pine.

Tastes like sweet caramel, dried cherry, tobacco, grapefruit peel, pine. Sweet and boozy with lingering bitterness.

Medium-full bodied, medium carbonation, slick and oily.
