Wonderful flavor! Sweet, coffee, & chocolate. Scents of vanilla & cinnamon.

A-Dark pour with a thin, beige head that retains poorly and leaves a decent amount of lacing on the glass.
S-Bitter dark chocolate, milk sugars and coffee
T-bitter chocolate again, hops, coffee and dry wheat
MF-Medium bodied, light with a dry finish.
O-Looks good, but the taste and smell are just flat. Too bitter and not well-balanced. It's light and drinkable for a stout, but that's not what I want when I seek a stout out.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a large pint glass. Emerges nearly pitch black in color with some soft chocolate highlights. Head is nearly three fingers tall but is indicative of a beer with an infection: thin, wispy, and quick to leave. Minimal lacing.
Aroma has an alkaline acidity to it and is chalky. No hints of chocolate, or really much indicating this is a stout.
Flavor is light, slightly sour, chalky, minimal chocolate flavor, caramel, and hints of coffee.
A below average beer for sure. Light body with no chewiness, thin. Watery. Not a beer I would revisit.
