A nice IPA, has a very strong lacing and ample foam. Hoppy notes of floral citrus meets malt, meets a strong finish. I drank 3 16 ounce Pint cans. Inconsistent quality between the 3 cans. The best of them are hoppy meets malt, meets fruit and caramel notes. The worst can had a fusel note and stale hop notes with it. My rating is for the two good cans. Never since this brewery launched, has the beer been consistent. but when good, was enjoyable. So 3.5 is my rating. Which is good but not best.

12 oz can from Tennessee.
Hazy amber-copper body with a decent head.
Pine and tropical fruit notes dominate three aroma. The flavor is more juicy with some citrus added.
Smooth, medium-full body.

Poured from the 12 ounce can.
Hazy orange with a respectable head of foam.
The nose is hoppy with grapefruit citrus pine and mango.
The taste is very grapefruit bitter. Like juice was poured into my glass along with the beer. Some pine and orange peel. This takes bitterness seriously and it is a bit much to my palate. A hard to drink IPA in my book.

Saw Works Brewing Company is a brewery straight out of my home state. Located in Knoxville, TN, I hope to make a pit stop at this brewery the next time I venture home for a visit. Currently, Saw Works Brewing offers four different brews to try: A brown ale, a pale ale, No Easy Day IPA, and the one I am currently drinking, their Rocky Hop IPA.
