L: dark orange with a white foamy head that fades fast.
S: malty build with a touch of citrus. Just not much aroma
T: light citrus, again the malt balances it out. Nice sweetness with only a touch of bitterness. Very drinkable, fits the style well.
F: smooth, very drinkable. Just a tad of bitterness.
O: a good pale ale, but still just a pale ale.

Way too bitter if you prefer your beer with the bitterness at the end. The first sip was like a kick in the mouth. I almost went with another brand instead of picking up a six pack of this, and wish I had. I'm from Knoxville, so you'd think I'd be a homer when it comes to this beer, but I'm not. Agree with the previous reviewer in that it woud be better in a mixed six pack.

The grain bill really overpowers any chance for hops. The mouthfeel is relatively dry which leaves a lingering that doesn't appeal to my tastes. The lacing held up but the grainy orange appearance of the beer was another thing to question. Overall it would be good in a mixed six pack.
