On draught at the brewery.
A: No head. No lacing.
Cloudy copper of average vibrance. No yeast is visible within.
Sm: Munich malts. Mild sweetness.
Aromatic intensity is so light as to be reticent.
T: Munich malts. A kiss of Noble Hops. Generic sweetness. Honey malt notes. Simple (to style), but unnaturally shallow. Balanced enough.
Average flavour duration and intensity.
Mf: Medium-bodied, smooth, unnaturally dry, overcarbonated. It's dragging roughness on the palate makes it both off-putting and Unrefreshing.
O: Its off-style rough mouthfeel makes it a beer that I'd never want to drink a litre of - which is basically the opposite of what this style is intended to be. If served at a traditional German beer festival, this is a beer no one would go back for a second krug of.
Swing and a miss from Hops and Grain.
