Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear amber color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time to leave a little bit of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is grainy and somewhat sweet with aromas of caramel and corn syrup. Along with these aromas are some light aromas of peach and hay
Taste – The taste begins with a with a crisp grainy cracker like taste that is mixed with a very light caramel sweetness. Along with these flavors are some other tastes of a light herbal and hay taste. The mix of flavors take the taste to the end, and with a little bit of a light toast taste, one is left with a rather crisp and clean taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – the body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is rather high. Foer the very light tastes of the brew the feel is great and makes for one easy sipper.
Overall – A good, but not exceptional lager. Very easy drinking and crisp. Nice for a warm summer day.
