Cloudy, murky light gold....flat looking...very light cologne like nose...first taste impression is fruity and cidery...then sweet Belgian wheat malt and a bit of oranges on the finish...the cidery impression is a bit disconcerting..very flat...not one of the better whit's I've had...the cidery notes stray from what I expect...not a lot of orange peel and corriander flavors...still this isn't horrible...I kind of like the seet Belgian wheat malt backbone...But definitely not a beer I would recommend.

Hazy orange/peach color. A slight ivory white head skims the top and recedes to a "swirl" in a minute. Aroma is very fragrant and perfume-like. Orange comes through on th enose in a big way. Even a little mint. Mouthfeel is unbelievably FLAT. Horrible. the taste is off a little as well. In my opinion, this beer is a little "green." Acetylaldehyde is present and tastes of green apple. There's a spiciness, but not enough for a wit. It's even a little sour. Not an enjoyable wit. (I had this one here 3 summers ago and it was great. Maybe it needs a little time to smooth out.)
